Hanneke
Hanneke’s struggle is over. After spending four weeks in the hospice Voorburg she passed away this morning. She was a great aunt & godmother (“peettante”). She battled her disease with immense strength.
Here’s the most recent picture I have from her, when she joined in on a whole group of family and friends going out for stand-up comedy at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam last December. Hanneke had cancer and took chemo, but still joined the young crowd to go out (you see my dad in the picture 
). That’s Hanneke for you.
