At Yellowstone our tent almost broke down… we didn’t know it yet but there would be two days of Heavy rain ahead of us. In miraculous way our tent managed to keep us pretty dry at night.

Hi Anke! As far as digital camera’s go, I’m a great fan of Canon. Two years ago I bought their PowerShot A70 - which I liked a lot but which broke down (but I must admit I do not spare my camera at all; I’m not buying it to be careful with it).
Now I have a Canon Powershot A95. It’s perfect. It’s a 5 megapixel camera with the opportunity to play with all the settings or just leave it all at automatic. Great shots and high enough resolution to print them at A4-size if you want to. It has a 3x optical zoom and a 4x digital zoom (12x together).
It’s on sale at Amazon for $269.94… a great price for the camera. See this
