Good Hearted!

Today I went to the cardiologist at the LUMC and got the results from a full echo-doppler measurement, performed last Tuesday. I’m very happy to report the echo showed no deformation or anomaly or whatever! My heart seems to be in sound condition. More info, click HERE.

According to the cardiologist, the problems I did experience a couple of times are problably cardiac auricle-arrythmia (”boezemhartritmestoornissen”). That is a situation in which the auricles (”boezems - dus niet hartkamers”) contract very quickly and a little irregular while the muscles of the ventricules of the heart (”hartkamers”) keep on beating in a fast, but not insane, pace.

To make even further sure no serious problem exist, I’m getting a “holter” for 48 hours. This “holter” is a machine which will measure my heart rhythm constantly and detects any deviations from normal behaviour. I will get this probably early February (which sounds a little silly to me, since by that time I’ll already have finished my chemotherapy).

Anyway - my heart is going strong. Huray!
