Fun at the dentist
Even a visit to the dentist becomes a special event when you’re on chemo…
My wisdom tooth on the lower left is a little misplaced and is covered with a some flesh of my mouth, leaving enough opportunity for bacteria to live underneath. According to my dentist this could very well cause a bacterial infection - and since my low level of leukocytes that could lead to my hospitalization. To prevent that from happening (I’m seeing enough of the LUMC as it is…), I’m using a strong aseptic mouth water called Perio-Aid. See HERE for more details.
